After defeating the mad scientist Yoin and his creations in Stormgulch, Tez’s group finally ventures north to stop Dreolia before they can finish off a weakened – and magicless – Bruatho. A skirmish with bandits forces a detour to save one of their own. With the entire archipelago hunting Tez, will he be able to reach Bruatho in time to make a difference?

Control over Tez’s unusual magic seems further away than ever. The discovery of a strange artifact may offer a clue into his unique gift, but time is no longer on Bruatho’s side. The political climate of Erast is fragile, and not everyone is who they appear to be. Dreolia, strengthened by the Draco Clan’s Descendants, moves closer with every passing hour. If Bruatho can’t defend itself against Dreolia’s next attack, then the war is over.
