Scales of Power – Celestial Heir Book 2

I’m excited to announce that Celestial Heir #2, Scales of Power, is available for pre-order here. It will release on January 25th, 2024. The paperback version should be available for purchase around that time as well. The incredible cover art and character sketches were done by Echo Lenora (https://twitter.com/VoiceOf_Dragons).

This installment in the series has been a blast to write. I already made a blog post about it, but for those who don’t know, I ended up splitting my original outline for book 2 into books 2 and 3. Because of that, some of the promises I made about book 2 (namely, massive ship battles) won’t take place until book 3. Sorry. I did include a summary of book 1’s main events, though!

With that all said, I hope you enjoy reading Scales of Power! The world’s about to get a lot bigger, and things aren’t as black and white as they may seem. 😉

P.S: If you purchase the eBook on Amazon, highlighting names and places will give you a brief description of the character/locale.

  1. Here it is! Can’t wait 😀

Huh, interesting, with the descriptions in the ebook version. Would there be any possibility of including those notes somewhere on this site as well, for us paperback readers? I know these’ll probably be just small bits of character stuff and lore, but it’d be nice to have access to them regardless :3

Anyhow, super stoked for SoP. Keep doing your great work!

(also, sorry if my comments are getting a bit tiring. In my defence I am very excited about Celestial Heir and all that surrounds it)

    1. The only reason I haven’t added them to my website was due to potential spoilers, such as deaths. But, what I’m thinking is I’ll link them on each book’s page separately. That way, no one reading book one will read book two’s character descriptions, as those descriptions would include spoilers for book one. I’ll work on adding that over the next couple of days.

Your comments aren’t tiring! Don’t worry. For some reason, I can’t reply to a comment chain of more than four, though. So, if I don’t reply, that’s probably the reason!
